Mirai is a subsidiary of Musashi Industrial and Starflight Concern (MISC) that develops and manufactures high-performance spacecraft. Established as a sub-brand based in Saisei in the Centauri system, it lets MISC pursue experimental and performance designs while retaining its industrial identity. Its lineage traces to a specialized MISC team formed in 2833, which produced the racing ship Razor after MISC gained access to Xi'an technology through a 2910 agreement; the Fury fighter was the brand's market debut.
